Funkin' in Dayton to Walkin' in Cincy

Firstly, how are you? I hope you actually answered that. If you wanna be extra, comment how you feel. Me though, everything wonderful, even when it's not.

I ain't gon hold you, it's hard for me to truly be open with people about my emotions and what goes on in my head. Lately, I been watching a lot of astronomy videos (trust me, this relates) and when you think about astronomy, it's full of theories and educated guesses, hypothesis, but we kinda take them for truth. However, the main thing that comes up across each theory is "the observable universe".

What's beyond that tho? and then that? and then that?

There's a meme/saying around now that goes "you gotta think big, bitch!" but how big is too big? That's where I'm at and it's honestly frying me. I'm at a point where I can't think small and it's honestly hurting my brain because I can't stop thinking and connecting EVERYTHING.

I really just want to turn my mind off for a bit, but I can't. So here I am, writing this blog for this week, as I only tell you a sliver of what's going on in this brain. Anyways, I'm good tho. Smokin this haurauche (read last week's post to understand what that is) until I get on with the day.

This past weekend, I still didn't have a homecoming lmaaaooo. If you read last week's post, you would see how I was a lil annoyed I couldn't go to TSU Homecoming '25 and was gonna bring the vibes to UC Homecoming '25. Nigga, no. Now, I'm not mad about it because everything went how it needed, but maaaaane, I was supposed to be out there with the folks. I'll be there next year, Lord willing.

I had a show in Dayton, OH on Friday tho! So honestly, missing Homecoming wasn't a huge miss. The show in Dayton went wonderfully. Some homies and I drove up to Blind Bob's (amazing quesadilla btw) and rocked out with P The Emcee for his album release party. Love to P for bringing me out of Cincy for a bit to splash somewhere else. When I tell you I killed it, NIGGA I KILLED IT. I'ma make a video recap soon, but you'll be seeing snippets of the live ism on socials.

Saturday, since I ain't go anywhere, it was a chill, peaceful day. I had to get ready for Sunday.

I took part in a walk to bring awareness to end domestic violence. We don't need that in ANY of our communities. I know too many people from family to friends, to even myself, who have suffered from this. Love to Riah Bella for putting on this walk and glad I could join you in your mission to protect and heal.

With the way thangs been goin on in the world with that mufucka in office too, we all we got. I'ma do everything I can to be a light for the community, but most importantly, MY COMMUNITY. I encourage you to do the same. I'm not one to take pics of me doin acts of service but just know I'm out here. Do your part, play your role, and make sumn shake.

With Halloween comin this week, I hope y'all have an enjoyable weekend. My kids want me to go as a Power Ranger with them. Finna be the first Black Male Pink Ranger lmao. Y'all be easy tho. I'll hit ya with the recap video later this week.
