Mellow Monday: I Finally Got It

As I started writing this, it's 9:46 PM. I was supposed to have this out before 8:30 PM. Whoops. Life be happening mane. At that time, I was super locked in on revamping the website. Had to make joining the surf shack much easier and make sense. Had to go thru the ins and outs of some shits; lotta technical stuff I don't feel like getting into. Just know, shit boutta get s p l a s h i n g.

Anyways, let me follow my outline (look at me doing better bout being organized so I don't just ramble). I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was eventful. Before I get into that, here's a video of my Dayton show from October 24th.

That show was fun to do. Microphone is on, no backing tracks (except for the hook), crowd participation. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but the video showin' a world class brass quartet.

I actually celebrated Halloween this year for the first time I can remember in a while. Like, actually putting some thought into a costume. Before I get into my fit, my sons did a wild ass full circle moment. So, my first Halloween, I went as the Red Power Ranger from Wild Force. This year, my sons went as the Red Rangers from whatever Power Ranger spinoff they fuckin with at the moment lol. Bruh, there's soooooo many different variants I can't keep up with them. Don't get me started on Super Sentai. My oldest gon be a walking encyclopedia of just random niche information.

I had two costumes this year. One wasn't even planned but it just made sense lmao.

So on the real, shit wasn't even a costume. I highkey just incarnated two characters. Costume one is Pastel Benjamin, Son of the Boogie Man, the New Age Funkateer. Costume 2 is Jo'Wave Jones, the Lost Joestar.

Yea mane, I know, ya playa patna is a huge nerd but so the fuck what. It keeps the world fresh lmao. But naw these fits really got me thinking how I just live life like a created character in a videogame or a tv show, especially this year. It's kinda insane how EVERYDAY I've had something pink on when I left the house. What started out as a marketing scheme became a way of life.

And that's why I can't just support any and everything. Shit gotta match my fly and my moral compass. I know I ain't the best but at least I'm honest bout my flaws lmao. With that being said, it's time to get to promo business.

This past Saturday, I did a new thang for my Saturday Splash series and introduced the Exclusive Stash. Now, minor change. At first I said I was gonna give only a week access to that exclusive side of the vault. Naw, because it adds more fun to know I can just revoke exclusivity at any moment. So if you want to download some exclusive tracks that definitely won't be out any time soon and will be reworked on, purchase a slice of history.

I made this because I literally make HELLA MUSIC and I just like putting shit out, but I wanna get paid for it. So this like a healthy medium of being a hustler but sharing the art at the same time. We accept the paper, never beg for it. Act like you've had some money in ya pocket, my nigga.
