The Saturday Splash, a Rebrand Already

Waz hannin,

I hope you doing well today. Right now, I'm coolin' out with my youngest on my chest writing this blog, exporting a video, and listening to "Whip with the Curtains" also making sure my oldest is good in the other room. Manifesting the life where we ain't gotta worry about gas or food or heat. All good tho, because we stay grateful for wherever we are at all times.

I was supposed to be at UC Homecoming right now. I guess homecoming season wasn't in the cards for me this year, lmaaaooo. Things change on a whim like that, life, right? Shit, i do it myself with my art, which is why we here now!

Last week, I introduced The Saturday Splash as a way to get to know new music. Naw, not anymore. I'ma come up with something else for that. Instead, The Saturday Splash is going to be a 10-to-25-minute mix of my songs; old, new, and unreleased.

The reason for this is I make A LOT of music. I want to share all of them but often get overwhelmed about do I want to showcase a song or an album. The everlasting question that I find myself in frequently.

I also listen to my own music. Not on some conceited shit (although I could back it up), but my why has always been "make music I want to listen to". If I can't sit and listen to my music, how can I expect anybody else to? So, with this series, I hope to open your ears to a smidget of how I listen to my music.

Who knows, you may hear demos or songs you never heard of before. You may hear songs you forgot about and want to revisit. This series is to bring life into the catalog that I spend hours making.
